Client story — Skolnik is a medium-sized manufacturer of steel containers &
accessories for hazardous materials. The company's products exceed industry standards and Skolnik enjoys a hard-earned reputation
for excellent customer care.
Key issue: Skolnik's brand image and communications tools didn't
match the "handmade" quality of its products. They
looked like most other companies in their industry, despite a longtime interest in breaking from the pack.
Our work — We overhauled Skolnik's brand positioning and message
strategy, and reconceived everything from the company's web site to its sales letters. Our design partner in this work was Good Studio, one of Chicago's best. The process helped Skolnik to discover a new voice and a
new competitive vantage point grounded in the high quality of its
products. The CEO even chose to paint Skolnik's offices the color of the company's new corporate identity. Now that's buy-in!
